Sigma’s F1.4 APS-C prime lenses coming to Canon RF Mount

Sigma has revealed four of its F1.4 APS-C prime lenses will soon be compatible with Canon RF mount cameras

The Sigma 30mm F1.4 DC DN, 56mm F1.4 DC DN, 16mm F1.4 DC DN and 23mm F1.4 DC DN will soon be available for Canon RF mount cameras, expanding Sigma’s Contemporary series to Canon RF users.

The lenses incorporate an RF-specific control algorithm for improved autofocus performance and compatibility with in-camera corrections. Additionally, they include weather-resistant mount seals to support use in different environments.

Sigma will also provide a Mount Conversion Service after launch for users who wish to adapt their existing lenses to the RF system.

The 30mm F1.4 DC DN and 56mm F1.4 DC DN are set to launch on 5 December 2024, while the 16mm F1.4 DC DN and 23mm F1.4 DC DN are expected to follow in January 2025.
