Samsung adds 870 EVO SSD

Samsung has released the 870 EVO SSD, its latest 2.5in SATA solution that combines class-leading performance with reliability, making it ideal for photographers wanting an efficient and dependable storage solution. The 870 EVO incorporates Samsung’s latest V-NAND and controller, giving read and write speeds of 560 and 530MB/s, respectively.

All SSD components have been designed in-house to ensure total compatibility and cohesiveness and the latest 870 EVO gives around 30% improvement in sustained performance compared with 860 EVO series. Each drive also has Intelligent TurboWrite technology to maintain its peak performance levels.

Prices start from £38.79 for the 250GB version, up to £395.49 for the 4TB model.
