Posted on Nov 19, 2021

A 18mm f/1.8 is in development to enhance this collection’s appeal even further

Panansonic has added a fourth f/1.8 lens to its family of fast primes, the Lumix S 35mm f/1.8, which joins the 24mm, 50mm and 85mm L-Mount lenses.

The 35mm f/1.8 has a 11 elements in nine groups construction with three ED lenses and three aspherical, the latter to help produce beautiful bokeh with its nine blade diaphragm while the former supresses chromatic aberrations.

Autofocusing is smooth and silent, while a mechanism keeps focus breathing to minimal levels. Other key features includes 24cm minimum focusing, 67mm filter thread and a dust/splash resistant design.

This lens is available to order now with a price tag of £579.99.
