Novoflex launches QUBE and KOPF2 precision heads

Posted on Jul 25, 2024

Novoflex has introduced two new precision tripod heads: the KOPF2 Geared Head and the QUBE Goniometer Head

KOPF2 Geared Head

The KOPF2 Geared Head is designed to deliver exceptional accuracy for photographers who require meticulous control over their camera positioning.

This new model features ultra-fine-tuning knobs on both axes, allowing for precise adjustments that enhance composition accuracy. The modular design is a standout feature, offering the flexibility to add couplings and panoramic rotation as needed.

Photographers specialising in product, macro, landscape, astro and architectural photography will find the KOPF2’s independent 2-axis movement highly beneficial. The fine-tuning knobs, equipped with zero-resettable scales (0-90° in both directions), and strategically placed spirit levels ensure superior alignment precision.

Both the top and bottom of the geared head feature ARCA-compatible profiles for compatibility with a wide range of accessories.

Constructed from high-quality materials, the KOPF2 promises durability and long-term performance. Its universal design allows for easy rotation, making it suitable for both left and right-handed users.

The KOPF2 Geared Head is available in three configurations:

  • Base Model (without QR-Coupling and Panorama Base): £1,340.00
  • Starter Kit (with QR-Coupling and Panorama Base): £1,500.00
  • Pro Kit (with QR-Coupling, Pano Base-Q and two fine adjustment handles): £1,600.00

QUBE Goniometer Head

The QUBE Goniometer Head is another innovative addition aimed at providing unparalleled precision and versatility.

Designed for use with SLR and mirrorless cameras, technical cameras, bellows devices, complex macro setups, binoculars, telescopes and rangefinders, the QUBE stands out with its modular structure.

The QUBE features an ARCA-compatible quick-release top clamp for easy attachment of various devices, and a secure square foot for stable anchoring. It also includes 1/4″-3/8″ threads for compatibility with other components.

The swivelling function, allowing 15° movement to the right and left, is particularly effective for close-up, macro and extreme telephoto photography.

A unique feature of the QUBE is its ability to stack and combine two goniometer heads, enabling parallel or 90° offset movements for creative freedom. The optional Panorama Base PANORAMA=QC, standard on the QUBE PRO, adds a third adjustment axis, enhancing the overall setup’s flexibility.

The QUBE Goniometer Head is available in the following configurations:

  • QUBE (with ARCA-compatible coupling and dovetail foot): £660.00
  • QUBE-DUO (Duo-Kit): £1,100.00
  • QUBE-PRO (Pro-Kit with Panorama Base): £12,50.00

Both products are now available to buy. Visit the Novoflex website for more information.
