Nikon Zf Firmware Update V2.00 adds flagship features
Nikon has unveiled firmware update version 2.00 for its retro-styled full-frame mirrorless camera, the Nikon Zf

The update introduces several high-end capabilities previously seen in the Nikon Z9 and Z 6III, enhancing both connectivity and creative control.
A major highlight of the Nikon Zf firmware update is support for Nikon Imaging Cloud. This enables automatic image transfer to third-party cloud storage, hands-free firmware updates and access to Nikon’s growing library of Imaging Recipes for creative inspiration.
Photographers specialising in wildlife will benefit from a new bird-specific subject detection mode, designed to improve accuracy and tracking when capturing avian subjects.
The update also brings Hi-Res Zoom, alongside expanded functionality for manual-focus shooting, including better support for vintage lenses. Users can now half-press the shutter-release button to exit magnified view, and aperture values from manual lenses can be recorded for improved reference.
