Lexar introduces CFExpress 4.0 memory cards

The Lexar CFExpress 4.0 Type A and Type B memory cards claim to deliver twice the speed of CFExpress 2.0 models, aiming to support faster workflows.

The new range is divided into three series: Diamond, Gold, and Silver, providing options tailored for various professional requirements:

Diamond Series

The top-tier Diamond series features read speeds of up to 3700MB/s and write speeds of up to 3400MB/s. It is positioned for users needing high-speed transfers and 8K RAW video recording capabilities, with sustained write speeds reaching 3200MB/s.

Gold Series

The Gold series offers read and write speeds of 3600MB/s and 3300MB/s respectively, with capacities of up to 4TB. It is intended for users requiring both speed and large storage for extended shooting sessions.

Silver Series

Focused on videography, the Silver series provides support for 8K RAW video recording and is compatible with cameras from brands such as Canon, Nikon and Panasonic. It supports sustained write speeds of 2600MB/s.

Durability and reliability

All cards in the range are designed with 8-point protection, safeguarding against environmental and physical hazards such as temperature extremes, dust and drops. A limited lifetime warranty is included for additional assurance.
