jj Media launches UK Photography Awards for Young People

If you’re aged 13-25 and in full-time education you could win a one-day professional studio hire, Nikon DSLR and advice from photographic assistants.

jj Media has announced the launch of its UK Photography Awards for Young people through its jj Foundation. The jj Foundation aims to inspire, support and motivate young photographers and filmmakers to help them achieve their creative goals and career aspirations.

The competition is free to enter and entrants can submit a maximum of three images into the following categories; portrait, landscape, street photography, still life/art and fashion. The competition closes on 30 November 2017 and the judging panel includes Nick Turpin and renowned photographer Richard Truscott.

The first, second and third place winners will each recieve a Nikon DSLR, with second place winning a one week work experience at jj Studios and first place will receive a one-day professional studio hire in jj Studio London, as well as advice from the photographic assistants.
