Insta360 launches new X5 camera

The camera introduces several hardware and software upgrades, including larger 1/1.28″ image sensors and a new Triple AI Chip system, supporting 8K 360° video recording at 30fps.

A dedicated low-light mode, called PureVideo, is designed to enhance performance in darker settings through AI-driven noise reduction and dynamic range optimisation.

Durability has also been prioritised in this model. The device is waterproof up to 15m and includes a new replaceable lens system, allowing users to swap out damaged lenses without returning the camera for repairs.

A built-in wind guard and updated audio processing are included to improve sound recording.
