Earth Photo 2025 now open
Earth Photo 2025 is officially open for entries, inviting still and moving image makers worldwide to submit work celebrating our planet
Established by Forestry England, the Royal Geographical Society and Parker Harris, Earth Photo describes itself as encouraging meaningful discussions about our environment, cultures and climate, using photography and film to reshape perceptions and inspire positive change.
The submission categories are unrestricted, welcoming both emerging and established creatives of any age or background. Entrants can submit up to 10 images or short films between five seconds and five minutes. Projects must be produced within the last five years. An entry fee of £15 covers up to 10 items.
Submissions close at 5pm GMT on Monday 3 March 2025. Shortlisted pieces will be showcased in various exhibitions, including the Royal Geographical Society in London.
Awards include cash prizes, residencies, mentoring and possible appearances in New Scientist’s Aperture section. For more details and online entry, visit the website.
