Best Black Friday deals for photographers

Black Friday is an ideal time to pick up some new gear. Here are some of 2019’s best deals.

We love a deal as much as you do, so for Black Friday 2019, we’ve done the hard work for you and collected some of the best photography and video-related deals we could find. We’ll keep updating this lest as more come up, so be sure to check back in.

 

Olympus

Olympus has more than a few deals for Black Friday, and better yet, they’re running until 2 December. A few highlights include 20% Off the entire M-Zuiko lens range, a £150 saving on the OM-D E-M1 Mark II plus get a free 30mm Macro lens (by redemption), and a £200 saving on the OM-D E-M1X.

Datacolor

Datacolor’s Black Friday deals are running all the way until 15 December, and you can save up to £100 on the SpyderX Studio and SpyderX Capture Pro. So if it’s colour management you’re after, this should be an early port of call. It’s advanced kit, but for the more advanced photographers among you, now may be the time to buy.

Mac Group

If you’ve been considering a new tripod for a while, Mac Group has a Black Friday deal on the limited edition of the award-winning Benro Slim tripod. The Tall Slim tripod is a great option for photographers and videographers needing lightweight, compact kit. The deal includes a Benro single action ball head, an Arca-style quick release plate and a carry case.

Anthropics

It’s not just kit that’s available during Black Friday, it’s experiences, too. The Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers is offering a discount on membership, so if you’re looking to go beyond just filling your kit bag, this is worth a look. Park Cameras

If you want the convenience of everything in one place – well, almost everything – Wex may be just what you’re looking for. There are cameras, lenses, tripods, gimbals, lights and a host of other photo and video goodies. High street and online

Though it’s less camera specific, general high street and online stores that sell photography and video gear usually have some good Black Friday deals. Amazon, of course, is a safe bet. We’ve also seen deals from Argos and John Lewis this year that are sure to please.
