Atoms Ninja phone gets Frame.io certification
The Atoms Ninja phone is now officially certified for Frame.io integration, providing camera-to-cloud functionality to users effective immediately
The announcement that the Atomos Ninja phone now has Frame.io certification follows the recent introduction of 4K UHD support to the device, enhancing its existing recording and streaming capabilities.
By connecting professional cameras and lenses via HDMI to an iPhone 15/16 Pro or Pro Max, or a compatible iPad Pro, the Atoms Ninja phone records 10-bit ProRes or H.265 files and delivers them directly to an OLED HDR screen. This setup allows concurrent streaming in up to 4K resolution.
With Frame.io certification, users can record and upload H.264, H.265 (HEVC), or 10-bit H.265 files at bitrates reaching up to 70 Mb/s.
Frame.io integration offers a straightforward login process, enabling rapid workflows and direct access to cloud-based editing and review tools.
Adobe is supporting this update by offering three-month free trials of Frame.io V4 Pro to new users upon registering the Ninja Phone.
The device is priced at £339 excluding VAT, and is currently available through authorised Atomos resellers. Learn more at the website.
