The Photography News Videography for photographers free course provides an introduction to videography for existing photographers.

You’ll begin by learning about the video capabilities of modern digital cameras and some basic settings to use. From there, you’ll learn in more detail about areas such as audio, technique, lighting and angles, before finishing with an introduction to post-production.

There are 11 lessons in total, 10 of which conclude with a practical exercise that aims to help you put everything you’ve learned into practice.

By the time you’ve completed this course you’ll possess a solid basic understanding of the video-making process – the perfect foundation from which to build your knowledge.

This course has been designed for established stills shooters with good photography knowledge looking to take their first steps in videography.
