Sigma announces 10-18mm F2.8 DC DN lens for Canon RF mount

Posted on Sep 5, 2024

Sigma has confirmed the release of its new 10-18mm F2.8 DC DN Contemporary lens for the Canon RF Mount

This ultra-wide-angle zoom lens, designed for APS-C mirrorless cameras, is currently the smallest and lightest in its category, measuring 62mm in length and weighing 270g.

This compact form, combined with its a wide focal range, makes it a great option for landscape, travel and interior photography.

With its constant F2.8 aperture, the lens can handle low-light shooting conditions and features high-speed autofocus (AF), Servo AF and in-camera aberration correction when used with compatible cameras.

The lens construction includes 13 elements in 10 groups, incorporating three FLD, one SLD, and four aspherical lenses. Additionally, the lens mount is rubber-sealed to help protect it from environmental conditions.

The 10-18mm F2.8 DC DN will be available from 26th September 2024, priced at £649. For more information, visit the Sigma website.
