New Hobolite Avant Max and Mini Max LEDs announced

Hobolite has announced the release of the Avant Max 80W and Mini Max 40W LED photography lights

These additions to the Max Series feature detachable battery packs and vintage-inspired designs. Both the Avant Max and Mini Max are available now for consumer pre-orders.

Avant Max 80W LED light

The Avant Max is a bi-colour continuous LED light that offers 80W of illumination with high colour accuracy.

This model is designed for both photography and video production, whether on location or in the studio, combining vintage aesthetics with modern technology.

The Avant Max has a colour temperature range from 2700K to 6500K, achieving high CRI (96+) and TLCI (96+) scores.

It includes a detachable lens with a focus function, which can increase the light’s intensity by nearly 3.5 times, which Hobolite claims replaces the need for multiple lights.

The integrated design features a detachable 99Wh battery pack and an AC adapter.

Additional features include controls via Bluetooth and NFC tap, and a mesh network capability for advanced lighting effects.

The focus lens has a magnetic mounting system compatible with barndoors, gels, and other accessories.

Mini Max 40W LED light

The Mini Max, with its 40W output, is aimed at content creators requiring durable lighting solutions.

Featuring a 20-50 degree bi-colour COB lens, the Mini Max can focus light to deliver nearly five times brightness. It also includes a detachable 99Wh battery pack and an AC adapter for portability.

Ensuring precise colour reproduction with a range from 2700K to 6500K and high CRI (96+) and TLCI (96+) metrics, the Mini Max is equipped with a magnetic mount system for quick attachment of accessories like barndoors, frosted domes, and colour gels.

Its IP65-rated battery pack supports type-C and DC interfaces, providing power to the light and other devices, along with USB type-C 65W PD charging capability.
