The Association of Photographers is calling for entries to its 2019 awards

Among the most prestigious and highly respected photography competitions, the AOP Awards are open to both professional and enthusiast photographers. Being selected for the book and exhibition is one of the greatest accolades and offers exposure to commissioners and the creative industry as a whole. This time around, there will also be a dedicated new AOP Awards website.

This year's Photography Awards, open to AOP Photographer and Assisting members, bring new categories, and commissioned and personal work will be judged together for each category for the first time. In the Open Awards, open to everyone, there's a new category, Innovation, celebrating the creative use of technologies and innovations for both still and moving imagery. And, of course, there's the Discovery Award for Assisting Photographer members.

Entries to the Photography Awards close on 21 January, and for the Open Awards it's 25 February 2019. Enter before 30 September to benefit from an early bird discount. Entry fees remain at last year's prices. You can find full details of entry prices and categories on the Awards website.
